Overview
Founded in 1908, the Cercle Nautique de Versailles, one of the town's oldest sports associations, rows on the Grand Canal in the palace park. Labelled a two-star 'École Française d'Aviron' by the French Rowing Federation for 2026, it takes rowers from age 11, for racing or recreation; twenty-three of its members have joined national squads and its junior and masters crews regularly feature at the French championships.
