Overview
A public-interest sports association affiliated to FFVoile, the Caen Yacht Club sails from the Bertrand-Génard watersports base on quai Gaston-Lamy in the heart of Caen. It has three strands: a sailing school for young people from 15 and adults, with J80 courses; a racing squad whose crews race regularly and which organises events through the year; and adaptive, inclusive sailing for people with disabilities. The club also runs a women's sailing programme, sea shanties and a maritime café.
