Overview
Tuus-Melojat, founded in 1987, is a paddling club in Järvenpää with its shed at the Purjeranta shore of Vanhankylänniemi on Lake Tuusula. The shed, built in 1998, holds about 80 members' kayaks and 25 club boats, including whitewater kit. Its roughly 340 members come from central Uusimaa; trips go to the sea, bigger lakes and rapids, and winter sessions are held in a pool.
