Overview
Ekenäs Segelsällskap (ESS), founded in 1897, has its clubhouse in the North Harbour of Ekenäs (Tammisaari) by the Stallören harbour and slipway, with club berths at Sköljhuset. It has 556 members (2025), 99 of them juniors and youth, and two island bases in the Ekenäs archipelago, Stuvuholmen and Vrakholmen, with pontoons, pavilions and saunas. ESS co-organises the Hanko Regatta and runs its own races such as the ESS Krångel Nordic Vintage Star Challenge, Fröbbes runda and the EKE-Marin race to Stuvuholmen; juniors sail dinghies and H-boats.
