Overview
Borgå Segelsällskap (BSS) celebrates its 120th year in 2026. Its club harbour Kugghamn is by the Emäsalo bridge in Porvoo, with a pavilion, pontoons and dinghy ramps and the base for junior and racing activity; in the Onas archipelago the club has the island base Killingholmen. BSS runs one of Finland’s oldest races, the Emsalö Runt (since 1909), plus the Napoleon Race and, with Marjaniemen Purjehtijat, the Turkisregatta. Juniors have training groups and summer camps, and adults can start in the Sailing Center on club boats.
