Overview
Tartu Kalev Yacht Club is based at Äksi on the south-east shore of Lake Saadjärv, about 18.5 km from Tartu. The club runs the harbour and slipway, rents rowing boats, canoes, SUP boards and windsurfers, and holds small-craft skipper and SRC radio courses, training and camps. On Saadjärv it organises national sailing regattas including the Tartu championships, and ice-sailing races in winter.
