Overview

Flensburger Segel-Club (FSC) was founded in 1890 and has its harbour and clubhouse at Quellental near Glücksburg on the inner Flensburg Fjord. For more than 100 years the club has run Flensburg Fjord Week – the 116th edition was in 2026 – and it is known for classic-yacht regattas such as the Sterling Cup for 8 Metres and 12 Metres and the 5.5 Metre Gold and Evolution Cup. The self-run youth section, with over 100 members aged 6 to 21, sails club-owned Optimists, 420s, 29ers, Lasers, two C55s and an Albin Express. The club harbour has 250 berths on pontoons A and B, plus a travel lift, boatyard and restaurant.
