Overview

The Thunersee-Yachtclub has promoted sailing on Lake Thun since 1920, from racing to cruising. It runs a regatta programme within the Lake Thun and Brienz sailing association calendar, has its own boatyard and offers members a J/70 club boat with coached training sessions. Its supervised junior section takes young sailors in easily and at low cost, with Optimist starter programmes and 29er training supported by Swiss Sailing's Jugend+Sport scheme.
