Overview
The Seeclub Luzern was founded on 21 May 1881 and is the first rowing club on Lake Lucerne. It rows from its boathouse on the Alpenquai in the Lucerne basin. The club is successful in competitive rowing up to European championship medals, runs a youth programme and offers recreational members a step-by-step course programme from C-gig through liteboat to racing shells; members also row touring trips as far as the Vogalonga in Venice.
