Overview
The rowing section of Grasshopper Club Zürich – Switzerland's largest multi-sport club, with twelve sections – rows from its boathouse on the Mythenquai on Lake Zurich. After a modest shed of 1904, the present boathouse opened in 1918, and an extension with an indoor rowing tank followed in 1937. The section is strongly focused on competitive rowing up to elite and U23 level, trains juniors in its basic course, races beach sprints and national regattas and awards the Thomi Keller Gedenkpreis.
