Overview
Iate Clube de Brasília (ICB) dates from 1960, the year the capital was inaugurated, and occupies a large site in the North Sports Clubs Sector on Lake Paranoá. Besides its social and multi-sport side it has a strong sailing department: a boat park for dinghies and cabin yachts, a sailing school for children aged 7 to 12 and a yearly programme including the JK Regatta (32nd edition in 2026), the Xangô Snipe Trophy and ILCA and Finn events. It has hosted the Brazilian adaptive-sailing championship in the 2.4 and Skud classes.
