For visiting boats
Safe Harbor Charleston City, long known as Charleston City Marina, lies on the Ashley River side of the Charleston peninsula, a short ride from the historic downtown. Its MegaDock berths large yachts, and the marina takes transient boats from 35 ft up to 455 ft with up to 18.5 ft draft and 65 ft beam. Every slip has shore power, water, Wi-Fi and pump-out; the fuel dock pumps diesel through high-speed pumps, and there are bathhouses, laundry, a store, waterside restaurants and a courtesy shuttle. The office works daily from 08:00 to 18:00 and listens on VHF 16.
