For visiting boats
The Village Docks are Put-in-Bay's municipal A and C docks in the middle of the downtown waterfront on South Bass Island, the busy Lake Erie island harbor. Boats come in for lunch or overnight, with water, shore power and the village's large bathhouse; space is first come, first served and rafting up to four boats deep is the rule on most of the docks. The dockmasters work on VHF 69, and the 2026 season runs from a preseason opening on 10 April to 12 October.
- Guest berths
- Day and overnight dockage on A and C docks, no reservations (spaces cannot be held). Rafting up to four boats is mandatory except in and behind the yellow end of C dock. Boats may not be left unattended overnight. Call the dockmasters on VHF 69.
