For visiting boats
Newport Shipyard is a working yard and superyacht marina on the Point side of Newport Harbor, a short walk from downtown Newport. It has about 3,500 ft of dock and takes yachts up to 350 ft, with three Travelifts (500, 200 and 100 tons) for big-boat hauling — the only yard in central Newport that can lift boats that size — plus paint, machine, electrical, metal and joinery shops. Ashore there are a ship's store, café, fitness center and round-the-clock security; water, Wi-Fi and trash are included with dockage. Rates are by quote from the dock office, which works on VHF 9.
