For visiting boats

Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina is a working shipyard and marina on the East Boston waterfront, near the entrance to Boston Harbor and looking straight across at the city skyline. Its 180 protected deep-water slips take boats from 25 to 125 ft, with up to 30 ft beam and 24 ft draft, and it stays open all year with winter in-water dockage and liveaboard slips. A fuel dock run by Harbor Energy pumps high-speed diesel, and there are pump-out, a 50-ton Travelift and repair firms on site, plus showers, laundry, a fitness center, café and cider taproom, free parking and 24-hour security. Guests pay per foot per night (weekly rates available) and can take a water taxi into the city; the office works on VHF 9.
