For visiting boats
Gulf Harbour Marina is on the south side of the Whangaparāoa Peninsula north of Auckland, opening straight onto the Hauraki Gulf and its islands. It has more than 1,000 berths for boats from 10.5 m up to 55 m, with deep berths on O and N piers of up to 4.5 m at chart datum, and visitors are welcome by the day, week or month at published rates. Approach in the white sector of the entrance light and follow the white transit leads closely — deep-draught boats must avoid a shelf off the pier ends at low tide — then call the dockmaster on VHF 73. The self-service fuel dock opposite E and F piers has diesel, petrol and water at any state of tide, and the travel lift takes up to 100 t and 7.8 m beam onto 15,000 m² of hardstand, with a dry stack for boats to 10 m.
