For visiting boats

Dún Laoghaire Marina lies inside the granite harbour of Dún Laoghaire on the south shore of Dublin Bay, completed in 1859 as a harbour of refuge. Opened on St Patrick's Day 2001, it now has room for 820 boats from 6 to 46 m, with 24-hour access for draughts up to 4 m and a 24-hour watch on VHF. Every berth has metered shore power, and the marina has a licensed fuel berth for diesel and petrol, holding-tank pump-out, Camping Gaz, free showers and toilets around the clock and a coin laundry. Trains and buses to Dublin city stop in front of the marina, and the town's shops, chandlery and restaurants are a short walk away.
