For visiting boats
Southsea Marina lies just inside the entrance to Langstone Harbour at the eastern tip of Portsea Island, facing Hayling Island, a few minutes from the open Solent. Berths for boats up to 17 m sit behind an automatic cill gate that gives roughly six hours' access each tide, with a waiting pontoon and fuel berth outside. The marina has seven-room and west shower blocks, a 24-hour laundry, the Marina Bar and Bombay Bay restaurants, a chandlery and a boatyard with a 25-tonne hoist and 15-tonne boat mover, and is home to the Southsea Marina Angling Club.
- Guest berths
- Enter Langstone Harbour past the East Winner bank – best from 3 h before to 1 h after high water; 10-knot harbour limit, 5 knots in the marina channel just past the Hayling Ferry pontoon. A tidal cill gate gives about 6 hours' access per tide; use the waiting pontoon outside and call VHF 80 for berthing. Langstone Harbour dues are payable to the Harbour Board within 24 h. Fuel pontoon on the outer waiting pontoon: 08:00–18:00 summer, 09:00–17:00 winter.
