For visiting boats
The Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club's marina lies in Lowestoft harbour right below the club's listed clubhouse, with access at all states of the tide and shelter in any weather – long a favourite landfall for yachts crossing from the Continent. It has 100 pontoon berths with 16–32 A power, a fuel berth for low-sulphur diesel with pump-out, 24-hour showers and laundry, free Wi-Fi and the club's bar and restaurant; visitors become temporary members.
- Guest berths
- Call Lowestoft Harbour Radio on VHF 14 for entry, then the club on VHF 80 for a berth (out of hours use the northernmost pontoon). Keep to mid-channel entering, especially at springs – shallow spots along the Northern Quay (Tug Arm) to starboard; about 2–2.5 m at CD on the visitors' Regatta Quay over soft mud. Visitors get temporary club membership; electricity included in the mooring fee; low-sulphur diesel and pump-out at the north-west fuel berth. Fees from the marina office.
