For visiting boats
Penarth Marina lies in the historic basins of Penarth Docks inside the Cardiff Bay Barrage, so its berths sit in fresh, non-tidal water with access around the clock through the Barrage locks; it is a Five Gold Anchor and Blue Flag marina. Visitors get fully serviced berths, showers and laundrette, free Wi-Fi, a fuel berth for petrol and diesel, a small chandlery, a restaurant and café and floating hotel rooms, with Penarth town on foot and Cardiff centre about four miles away. Two RYA training centres work from the marina.
