For visiting boats
Chichester Marina lies at the eastern end of Chichester Harbour between Itchenor and Fishbourne, behind a lock that runs around the clock, with in-water berths for boats up to 22 m and the creeks and anchorages of the Chichester Harbour National Landscape on the doorstep. Coming in, follow the harbour channel past East Head and Itchenor towards Birdham and the marina's 12 m wide approach channel, then call on VHF 80 for the lock. The marina has a fuel and pump-out pontoon by the lock, four shower blocks, a 24-hour laundry, a café-restaurant and the Chichester Yacht Club on site, and its boatyard lifts boats with 60-tonne and 30-tonne hoists.
- Guest berths
- Call Chichester Marina on VHF 80 at Birdham Spit pile to request the lock; tie up on the waiting pontoon outside the lock if you have no berth yet and collect berth number and key fob from reception. The lock runs 24 h; a red 'reduced depth' light shows when there is 1 m or less over the cill. Fuel pontoon by the lock: 08:00–20:00 in summer, 09:00–17:00 in winter.
