Overview
The Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle is a racing-focused club with its clubhouse at Shilshole Bay Marina on Puget Sound. It runs evening racing from April to September and several big weekend regattas — more than 100 race days a year on Lake Washington and Puget Sound, with buoy, destination and overnight courses — and in 2026 hosted the J/105 North Americans. Recognized fleets include ORC, J/105, J/80, J/70, J/24, Star, San Juan 24, Thistle, RS Aero, Snipe and ILCA, and the club owns dinghy floats at the north end of the marina in support of the CYC Community Sailing Center and small-boat sailing. A cruising fleet organizes flex cruises, rendezvous and longer rallies. Visiting reciprocal-club members book Port of Seattle guest moorage at Shilshole and claim a reimbursement from the club.
