Overview
Skerries Sailing Club was formally founded in 1933 – Skerries had held regattas since 1857 – and its clubhouse on Harbour Road looks over the harbour and the islands off this north County Dublin fishing town. Dinghies and keelboats race up to three times a week in the season, among them the traditional Irish Mermaid class that has been part of the club since the 1940s, and the club hosted the E-Boat National Championships in 2026. It runs Irish Sailing summer camps for juniors, an all-inclusive sailing initiative and cruising guides for navigating through the Skerries islands for visiting boats.
