Overview
Bray Sailing Club, more than a hundred years old, has its clubhouse overlooking Bray harbour at the north end of the promenade in Co. Wicklow. The harbour dries at low water, so most boats get in and out about two hours either side of high water; there is a short-term visitor mooring just north of the harbour for calm weather and visitor pontoons for brief stays. The cruiser fleet races under ECHO handicap every Saturday and on tidal weekday evenings from late April to September, dinghies race all year, and the club's sea school runs Irish Sailing junior courses (including Hallowe'en and summer courses) and adult theory courses.
