Overview
Tideway Scullers School was founded in 1957 to develop excellence in single sculling, and its members have been selected for Great Britain every year since 1984. Its boathouse is at Dukes Meadow in Chiswick, by Chiswick Bridge, on the tidal Thames, where scullers can row down the Boat Race course to Putney or upstream past Kew to Richmond. Junior, senior and masters squads train from the club, which has an erg room overlooking the river and a weights gym. Week-long learn-to-scull and improvers courses run in spring, summer and autumn and finish with a side-by-side regatta.
