Overview
Queen Mary Sailing Club sails on the raised Queen Mary Reservoir at Ashford in west London and has introduced the local community to sailing and windsurfing for more than 50 years. A not-for-profit club and RYA Recognised Training Centre with a professional team (no member duties), it has over 100 club boats, pontoons and rigging areas, runs dinghy, keelboat and windsurf racing, the famous Bloody Mary winter race (50th edition in 2026), RS21 winter inland championships and open meetings, and is an RYA Pathway Club for Topper, Techno, RS Tera, RS Feva and ILCA youth sailors, with an RYA Sailability programme for disabled sailors.
