Overview

Marlow Rowing Club rows from Marlow Bridge Lane on a non-tidal stretch of the Thames, beside the town's suspension bridge. Formally founded in 1871, it has more than 500 members, a large fleet, a gym and a clubhouse that opened in 2015 after a fire destroyed the old one in 2011. It is known for producing Olympic rowers and is one of the country's leading clubs for para rowing. The club runs two regattas a year, Marlow Spring Regatta on the early May bank holiday weekend and Marlow Town Regatta in June, and offers learn-to-row and learn-to-cox courses for juniors and adults from spring to early autumn.
