Overview
Emsworth Sailing Club sits on Bath Road at the head of the Emsworth Channel in Chichester Harbour, beside the town's Mill Pond. It races dinghies in the harbour, runs a cruiser section with musters, rallies and team races against neighbouring Emsworth Slipper SC, and offers RYA dinghy, windsurf and powerboat training for adults and juniors – young sailors start in Optimists on the Mill Pond. A hire fleet of dinghies, windsurfers, kayaks, paddleboards and a Celtic Longboat for coastal rowing, a dinghy park with nearly 400 spaces, club and trot moorings, and radio sailing complete the programme. The club is full and keeps a waiting list.
