Overview
Bedford Rowing Club rows on the Great Ouse from its boathouse in Duck Mill Lane, on the same site where the club kept its first boats after it was founded in 1886 as Bedford Amateur Rowing Club. The club has been based in the boathouse since 1960 and has added a lounge and bar, a gym and an erg room. It offers rowing for all ages, from learn-to-row courses to competitive crews, and runs the Bedford Autumn Small Boats Head.
