Overview
Founded in 1981 on the Mourillon beaches in the anse Tabarly, the Yacht Club de Toulon is affiliated to the French sailing, canoe-kayak and surfing federations. With more than 2,300 members and licence holders it gets people on the water all year: a sports school for under-18s, adult courses, holiday camps from age 5, rentals and private lessons in catamarans, windsurfing, wing foil, kitesurfing, kayak and SUP, plus outrigger canoe (va'a) and radio-controlled sailing. The club runs FFVoile regattas in Toulon roads — windfoil, keelboats, Windsurfer, catamarans — and trains instructors (CQP, BPJEPS).
