Overview
The Société Nautique de la Baie de Saint-Malo, a sports association of public interest whose origins go back to 1848, gets Saint-Malo sailing and rowing from five bases: the head office and keelboat training centre at Les Sablons marina, dinghy sailing at Bon-Secours below the ramparts and at Rothéneuf, and rowing at the Naye. Its schools run year-round lessons and holiday courses — from 4-year-olds to Optimists, Bugs, catamarans, windsurfers, J/80 keelboats and cruising, plus para-sailing and racing schools for dinghies, keelboats and rowing. The club organises regattas and events, including the Régates des Forts and beach rowing, Optimist and catamaran regattas, and takes part in the Route du Rhum village.
